How do I return an order?
Although we want you to be completely satisfied with all the items you have ordered we will gladly accept back any item that was purchased within thirty (30) days of receipt that you do not wish to keep (excludes tea samples). Please note that the cost of shipping these unwanted items back will not be covered by us.
NOTE: If a return is for any other reason other than damage or shipping error, we will gladly extend a "store credit" or refund for these items less a 40% disposal fee. No refund will be granted for shipping charges incurred.
When do disposal fees apply?
A disposal fee of 40% applies to shipments that have been opened, tried, and returned due to a customer's dislike of the product. Since the product is no longer usable for resale, the fee covers a small percentage of the company's associated loss. We recommend trying sample sizes before buying large quantities of any tea.
My order was shipped to the wrong address - what now?
If an order is unable to be delivered due to an incorrect address as provided by purchaser, and returned to Herbal Infusions, the purchaser will be responsible for the full cost of shipping, in both directions, as well as the forty (40) percent restocking fee. This applies to orders that are being shipped to regular and third party recipients.
In the event that a package is lost due to an incorrect address provided by purchaser we will not be able to issue refunds for products damaged, lost or stolen.
We can not issue credit for orders not delivered on specific dates unless the order is shipped by an Expedited Shipping option. Orders shipped by ground delivery fall within Canada Post delivery guidelines which vary from province to province. Although we do our best to get orders en route as soon as possible, we can not guarantee same day service on our items or orders that qualify for free delivery.

You Don't Have a Phone Number, What Gives?
Many people are cautious when dealing with companies that do not have a phone number- as they should be! Since Beth and myself hold down jobs that keep us busy (although we are right around the corner from our tea stash!) we have found the best way to communicate with our customers is via e-mail. Infact, Dan has his trusty Blackberry welded to his hip and that little puppy rings and whistles every time a comment or e-mail hits us. Needless to say we do put her in vibrate mode after midnight....we tea folks really do need to sleep too :)
